Skid or Markz to race at Knockhill!

The mystery of Skid and Markz continues at Knockhill as he/she is racing the guest Mini at the next SMRC meeting on Sunday 31st May.

Spotted throughout central Scotland in November and December, the mystery racer will be behind the wheel of the Tynecastle Garage sponsored Mini Cooper. Who knows, will Skid or Markz win, be the slowest, race the circuit the wrong way, we will have to wait and see!!

One thing is for certain, it’s another first at an SMRC race day. Action starts at 9am with qualifying, racing from mid morning featuring Legends, Formula Fords, Mini Coopers, Sports and Saloons and guest races of the Northern Sports and Saloons.

We asked David Kerr from Tynecastle Garage for a few clues about the driver and here is what he had to say... "The only clue is, they will be a front runner" Thanks David...really helpful!!! Not even a hint of the sex of the driver. They will arrive at the circuit fully suited and helmet on and when they get onto the podium (I was informed this would be a formality for a driver of their skill) they would still not reveal their identity. One thing is for sure....it should be a lot of fun trying to work out who the Skidz or Markz is.
